Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

Formatting Requirements

  • Submit the complete manuscript as a single Microsoft Word file (.doc or .docx)
  • Include all author information in the main document
  • Use single-column layout, 12-point Times New Roman, double spacing
  • Remove tracked changes and highlighting before submission

Manuscript Structure (In This Order)

  1. Title (concise and informative)
  2. Author Names and Affiliations
  3. Corresponding Author Details
  4. Abstract (maximum 250 words)
  5. Keywords (4–6 terms)
  6. Main Text (numbered headings)
  7. References (APA 7th Edition)
  8. Tables and Figures (at end of document)
  9. Acknowledgements (if applicable)
  10. Funding Statement (if applicable)
  11. Competing Interests Declaration

Tables and Figures

  • Numbered consecutively
  • Minimum 300 dpi resolution
  • Include descriptive captions

References (APA 7th Edition)

  • In-text citation: (Author, Year)
  • Reference list: alphabetical order
  • List up to 20 authors; for 21+, list first 19 then “et al.”
  • Include DOIs when available

Authors are responsible for ensuring accuracy and completeness of references.
